A regular shopping day changed Pilar's life. After surviving the attack on the Andino Shopping Center and losing one of her legs, her story of overcoming it has become a testimony to the importance of teamwork, resilience and love for life.
Hotel and Tourism Entrepreneur. At age 53 he was sedated to find out his health after ignoring various warning signs from his body. Upon awakening he was faced with the amputation of both legs. His story is an example of the importance of prevention and resilience.
World Para cycling bronze medalist who at the age of two lost her left leg in a traffic accident. Her life story is a reflection of perseverance and goal-focused work to overcome adverse situations.
At age 12, he suffered a stroke and lost the mobility of half of his body. Against adversity and prejudices about his disability, he developed his life project around his passion for horses, becoming the first para-equestrian athlete in Colombia.

Due to an oversight working in a production plant, he suffered a work accident. After 3 years of rehabilitation, he made the decision to have his leg amputated. However, he found a taste for the sport and today he is part of the Colombian Soccer League for Amputees. His capacity for determination shows us the importance of making timely decisions.
Pursuing his dream of studying music, he accepted a job as a painter. Due to ignorance of safe work at heights, he suffered a fall from a second floor. He lost mobility in his legs. His testimony is vital to understand the importance of generating a culture of self-care to avoid accidents at heights.
From a young age, he connected his love for sports and adrenaline with motorcycling. One day fulfilling one of his wishes to travel by motorcycle to see the sea in the company of his friends and family, he suffered a traffic accident due to the recklessness of a driver on the road. Unfortunately, this led to the amputation of his left leg. This accident did not stop his passion, today he is a motorcyclist, for an amateur triathlete, and a high performance seated volleyball athlete. His story tells us about the importance of road safety to avoid accidents and the ability of people with disabilities to follow through on their dreams.
