Following the guidelines established by the Ministry of Interior as Technical Secretariat and recognizing that Colombia has the Public Policy on Disability and Social Inclusion, we accompany and guide municipal and departmental administrations in the process of planning, formulation and implementation of public disability policies.
How do we do it?
Our territorial intervention focuses on an articulated work methodology between people with disabilities, their families and /or caregivers and with those who have been working cross-sectionally from different sectors, with the aim of guaranteeing the effective exercise and real access to rights of this population in terms of equality and inclusion.
Our results
People with disabilities were positively impacted with the implementation of the Public Disability Policy in the municipality of Apulo, Cundinamarca, in 2019.

Carrying out technical assistance in the formulation of the Public Policy on Disability and Social Inclusion in the municipality of Apulo, Cundinamarca, in 2019. Together with the Disability Committee, a statement of reasons was made before the Municipal Council for the approval of the municipal agreement by which the policy is adopted.
