Comprehensive Physical Rehabilitation Brigades

Our Comprehensive Physical Rehabilitation Brigades have established themselves as great strategies with which we seek to provide specialized medical care throughout the national territory to population with physical disabilities with limited resources, with little-or-no access to a healthcare system.

How do we do it?

In alliance with governments and municipalities, private entities and international cooperation organizations, we travel to the most vulnerable areas of Colombia with our mobile clinic and an entire interdisciplinary team of our institution. This team is made up of our physiatrist, orthopedic doctor, physiotherapist, social worker, psychologists, occupational therapist, prosthetist technician and mobility technician. We identify people with disabilities and / or victims of armed conflict, diagnose, formulate and deliver medical devices or mobility aids that they require to improve their quality of life.

In addition, and in joint work with the departmental health secretaries, hospitals and / or municipal health centers, we accompany the population to activate healthcare routes, allowing each patient to have continuity in the service they receive from his or her healthcare system.
